Interview Tips

• Prepare job relevant questions. There is nothing more discouraging than the question, "So tell me about yourself"

• Ensure you have a CV of the candidate at hand and review/peruse it beforehand.

• Be friendly - the candidate is already nervous.

• Try a conversation-like interview based on behavioural interview questions rather than a question and answer interview.

• Be professional. Remember, you must impress the candidate just as much as the candidate needs to impress you.
